Cilantro Culinary Academy was established in 2006, with the aim of providing professional skills and vocational trainings in Culinary Arts at Foundation, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.
The academy prides itself on the team of professional Chef Instructors and friendly administration staff that bond with the students understanding their education needs and wants; providing career guidance and advice; opening up more options that students might not have recognised before and in general being a mentor to them.
We have high expectations in our students. They are expected to be all-rounder chefs capable of both theoretical and practical knowledge in not just food and beverage, but also other related aspects such as pastry and baking, food handling, safety and development, hygiene, costings and budgeting, kitchen management, nutrition and many more. Every area complements each other in the culinary world and students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in creating their own distinctive styles.
Upon completion of their studies, they will be awarded their Certificate from the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) or formerly known as the MLVK, and their Diploma and Advanced Diploma from the City & Guilds (C&G) of London Institute, UK.
